FAQ

Common Questions Parents Have Asked Us

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?

Preschool: All children will need spare clothing, indoor shoes, water bottle, and proper outdoor gear.  You can choose to provide a peanut free lunch and snacks for your child or you can participate in our lunch program.

Summer Camp: Please dress for the weather as we spend a lot of our time outdoors. Also, dress for a mess. Because we will be doing science experiments and the kids can get wet from water play, we recommend you bring extra clothing. Please also include a sun hat, sunscreen and bug spray. For food, the kids will need two snacks, lunch (can be heated in the kitchen microwave) and a water bottle are also required. Snacks should be peanut-free.

HOW DOES DROP OFF WORK?

Preschool: Doors will open at 7:00.  Please help your little one change into their indoor shoes.

Summer Camp: Camp staff will greet parents and campers on the first day to locate their group. Please allow extra time on the first day and arrive early. During the remaining week, parents and campers will meet with their assigned group in the same location each morning inside the hall. Doors open at 8 am.

WHAT IS THE PICKUP POLICY?

Preschool: Please pick up promptly at 12:30 pm for the morning class and 6:00 pm for full days/afternoon class. Call ahead if you are unable to collect your child on time.

Summer Camp: Please pick up promptly by 5:00 pm. If required, children may be picked up early or anytime during the day. Camp staff will help locate your child’s group.

Picture ID is required for all pickups. If you’re not able to pick up your child, you can call ahead and authorize someone else. Staff will not allow an adult not listed to pick up a child.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Preschool: No refunds will be issued if paying on a monthly schedule and one month notice is required for cancellation of a preschool spot. If you have already paid for the year, you will be refunded the remaining number of months minus one month plus however many days are left in the current month. Payment is due in full on the 1st of each month.

Summer Camp: Payment is due within one week of registration. Refunds are available for cancellations up to two weeks before camp start date. A $25 administration fee will apply.

Preschool and Summer Camp: Please call or email if your child is sick or away. Sick children must be kept home for 24 hours after symptoms are completely gone. If your child becomes ill during the day, parents/guardians will be contacted to pick up their child. Symptoms that indicate a child should stay home or will be sent home include a fever over 37.8 degrees Celsius, diarrhea, or vomiting.
